I am placing this ad to help this family grow their business and at the same time to testify about our experience as a group who stayed with the family.
NOTE: this accommodation is only ideal for backpackers who are working on a shoe stringed budget. In short, ung mga gustong maka tipid sa accommodation. Hindi ito ideal para sa mga ?maseselan.? I?m saying this for you not to set a high expectation about the physical structure of the house.

Location: It is right in front of Saud Resort Hotel?s gate while it?s less than 50-meters away from and Saud Beach and Polaris. The transient house is NOT a beachfront lot however, it is close to it.
Description:
The house is like a 2-storey structure with three (3) rooms for rent. However, I must say that the house is not at its best YET, but the family is doing its best to put all their effort to beautify their rooms out of what they have. One thing is for sure, as they get more clients and more income, of course, there house will also get better.
Room description:
Room 1 and 2 are found at the basement. Ideal for 2 persons/room.
Room 3 is found at the second floor and has 3 double beds if I?m not mistaken. Ideal for a barkada. ( I just love how this room looks like).
All rooms were clean, sheets and beddings smelled great! Rooms at the ground floor are with windows.
Toilet description:
Indeed, I was surprised there were separate toilets for Ladies and Gents which was good. Above all, both toilets are looking good and neat. Tiled ang toilets nila at malinis (I?m impressed!)
Note:
1. Rooms have doors and locks inside, however, there are no padlocks outside yet. Nevertheless, none of our belongings were lost. Again, wherever you are, it is a common sense not to leave anything valuable beyond your site.
2. Rooms are without aircon. Based on my December experience, the temperature was a bit warmer than Baguio (my home), much colder than La Union and other parts of Ilocos. Definitely, no need to use aircon, unless you want to chill at night.
3.Toilets are not equipped with hot and cold shower.
Rates:
As of December 2009, they charge P250/head/night. Should you want a break fast meal, just add P50/head.
Other services:
Tour guiding Services ? Manung Ruben used to tour guests around with his tricycle. He is the right person to take if you have a private car and want someone to help you locate places IF you don?t like asking around. He is fully aware of the places that need to be visited whether it is or is not promoted.
Tricycle and Driver ? If you are a small group and without a car. Just contact them. I am sure a discount will be extended should you decide to be accommodated in their place.
Paluto ng ulam/ Catered Meal ? If you are a big/small group and don?t want hassles. Manang Mariefe is the person to talk to. She and her young daughters will cook your preferred meal. Ang sarap ng luto niya. No kidding. I remember a French group staying at Saud Hotel ordering their meal from her for their 3-day stay. They liked her lutong bahay though wala siyang karinderya. Ewan ko lang kung di ka pa masarapan. Hehe. The cost of their meals are definitely cheap yet masarap.
